Playing video games and watching anime is all well and good – but what happens when you need money? You get a job! Presenting Café Crush, a short choice driven visual novel where you manage to land a part-time job working at Kitty Café, a quaint little coffee shop and bakery run by three cute girls, Lily the bubbly waitress, Josie the aloof barista and Emilia the shy pastry chef. Work your way through each day, completing mini-games and serving customers while chatting with each of your colleagues to try and win them over. Who knows, maybe at the end of the week you’ll snag a date with your favourite girl. Café Crush is fully voiced featuring a selection of engaging mini-games and quizzes as well as a point system to help track your relationship progress with each girl. Discover their favourite things and buy them their ideal gift to get a date! Cafe Crush is a little bit shorter than we were hoping but it scratched a very particular itch that we had after playing a coffee-themed visual novel demo earlier this year. The full game (that went with the demo we played) still has not come out yet but we’ve been really looking forward to it so when we saw this title pop up on the Steam store, we went ahead and picked it up immediately.
